David Angenendt

I am currently a Lecturer (postdoctoral associate) at the Department of Economics and Policy at TUM School of Management, Technical University of Munich.

My research interests cover innovation economics, intellectual property, and industrial economics. My work examines issues such as patent policy, information disclosure, innovation measurement, and university-industry engagement.

I am also a Research Associate at the Centre for Business Research at the University of Cambridge. In 2019, I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Bologna.

I will present my research this summer at the ASFE annual congress in Paris, IPRE conference in Geneva, DRUID in Toronto, and the SIOE conference in Sydney.
I am once again co-organizing a workshop for PhD students in management science and economics on topics of digitalization and innovation, and the law and economics of those areas. The workshop is on 26 May, as part of the three-day Munich Summer Institute conference. You can find more details in the call for papers here . Submission deadline was on 15 February, program will be available in April!

My regular schedule of teaching activities at TUM School of Management:

Every winter term, I deliver my course on the Economics of Technology & Innovation (undergraduate).

In the summer term, I host the "Advanced Seminar" on the Economics of Digital Platforms (Master's level).
